تعتبر بجعة الوبر طائر فنلندا الوطني كما تعتبر رمزا لبلدان شمال اوروبا .
يتراوح طول طائر البجعة من 140 ـ 160 سم ووزنها 8 ـ 20 كجم ، كما تبلغ المسافة بين الجناحين من 205 ـ 207 سم . الرقبة طويلة والرأس يأخذ شكل زاوية والمنقار اصفر و أسود . وبالرغم من حجمها الا أنها طائر قويّ وهي من الطيور المهاجرة وتقطع مئات الأميال ..تحتاج لمساحات كبيرة من الماء للعيش فيها وخصوصا في مرحلة النمو.

بجعة الوبر أحادية الزواج اي تتزوج مرة واحدة ويبقيا معا الى مدى الحياة ، يتعاون الذكر والأنثى في بناء العش وتحتضن الأنثى البيض بينما الذكر يقوم بدور الحراسة. يفقس البيض بعد 36 يوما ويكون الريش رماديا او بنيا. يبدأ الفرخ في الطيران عن عمر يتراوح بين 120 ـ 150 يوما. عادة تبقى الفراخ مع الأبوين خلال فصل الشتاء وغالبا تبقى معهم لسنوات . تتواصل مع بعضها بصوتها المزماريّ العميق .

العملة الذهبية من اصدار بنك فنلندا المركزي ، والمناسبة مرور 200 عاما على انشاء البنك المركزي الفنلندي . يعتبر بنك فنلندا رابع اقدم بنك في العالم . تأسس في عام 1811 عندما أصدر القيصر الكسندر( قيصر روسيا ) مرسوما بإنشاء مكتب للصرافة والودائع والقروض في مدينة توركو ثم نقل في 1819 الى هلسنكي.

هذه العملة هي العملة الوحيدة الذهبية لفنلندا لعام 2011
