ما هو الفيسبوك
يعتبر الفيسبوك إحدى وسائل الاتصال الاجتماعي الحديثة التي ساعدت على ربط العديد من الناس مهما اختلفت مواقعهم واماكنهم وأوقاتهم وأعمالهم، وهو موقع إلكتروني، تملكه شركة الفيسبوك المساهمة العامة. تتعدد الجهات التي تستخدم الفيسبوك في الوقت الحالي وتتعدد الأغراض أيضاً، فقد يستخدم الفيسبوك لأغراض تعليمية أو سياسية او اجتماعية أو لقيادة حملات توعوية مجتمعية او لأغراض ترفيهية أو للعلاقات الاجتماعية او للتجارة والدعاية والإعلان، فقد ارتبط موقع التواصل الاجتماعي الفيسبوك في كافة مناحي وامور الحياة ومتطلباتها. لما وفره من سهولة في تكوين القاعدة الجماهيرية المطلوبة لأي عمل من هذه الأعمال، ولما وفره أيضاً من سهولة في نشر الآراء والأفكار والانشطة التي تصل إلى مختلف الناس مهما كانت شرائحهم وفي أسرع وقت ممكن.


من أسس فيسبوك
يعد مارك زوكيربيرغ هو من أسس هذه الشبكة التي تهدف إلى زيادة اتصال الناس معاً وتفاعلهم اتجاه ما يدور من قضايا، وقد تم تأسيس الفيسبوك في بدايات العقد الماضي، إلا أنه انطلق وتم فتحه أمام جميع المستخدمين وكل من يمتلك بريداً إلكترونياً خاصاً به في العام 2006، أما العام 2008 فهو العام الذي شهد إعلان إيرلندا وتحديداً العاصمة دبلين مقراً رسمياً لشركة الفيسبوك.


ماذا يتيح فيسبوك لمستخدميه
تتيح شبكة التواصل الاجتماعي الفيسبوك للمستخدمين، التعرف على بعضهم عن قرب أكثر عن طريق نشر الصور الملتقطة لهم في المناسبات ونشر ما يدور في الخاطر من أفكار وتتيح لهم نشر مقاطع الفيديو كما ويستطيع المستخدم التفاعل مع ما ينشر عن طريق الأيقونات المتاحة مثل أيقونة " أعجبني " كما ويستطيع مشاهد الصورة او المنشور إعادة نشره على صفحته الخاصة به ليتيح لمن هم في قائمة أصدقائه أن يشاهدوا ما تم نشره، إلى ذلك يتيح الفيسبوك للمستخدمين إنشاء المجموعات الخاصة لزيادة التفاعل بين المستخدمين ويتيح أيضاً إمكانية لعب الألعاب المختلفة. وتتفاعل العديد من المواقع الإلكترونية الأخرى مع الفيسبوك بشكل جديد، فتتيح لزوارها أن ينشروا ما يتم نشره على الموقع الإلكتروني على صفحات مستخدمين الفيسبوك والذين يدخلون إلى هذا الموقع الإلكتروني وذلك طبعاً لأسباب ترويجية.


مميزات الفيسبوك
وبسبب كل هذه المميزات وأكثر استطاع الفيسبوك أن يتصدر قائمة المواقع الاجتماعية كافة متفوقاً على تويتر وجوجل بلس وغيرهما من المواقع الاجتماعية، فقد لاقى الفيسبوك انتشاراً ورواجاً كبيرين بين المستخدمين لما وجدوه فيه من سهولة في التعامل وجمالية في التصميم وفي الخصائص، إضافة إلى انتشاره الواسع والذي مكن الجميع من ان يتعاملوا معه ويستفيدوا منه كل حسب غرضه وطريقته.
