يقوم غالبية المستخدمين باستخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي عبر أجهزتهم الذكية، تليها أجهزة الكمبيوتر المحمول، حيث ذكر معظم المستطلعين (83%) بأنهم يقومون باستخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي عبر الهواتف الذكية الخاصة بهم في معظم الأوقات، بالمقارنة مع (11%) من عدد الأشخاص الذين يستخدمون أجهزة الكمبيوتر المحمول للوصول إلى وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي.

ثالثاً: تأثير وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي بناءً على آراء المشاركين في الدراسة

إن وسائل الاتصال الاجتماعي تمكنت من فتح آفاق للتعامل والتواصل بين الناس، وفتحت المجال للتعرف على ثقافات متنوعة، وأتاحت البحث والتعلم في شتى المواضيع، وإن الطفرة التقنية المتسارعة تساعد في إحداث هذا التفاعل، حيث أصبح متاحاً اليوم الحصول على المعلومات، والتعرف على آخر المستجدات التي تقع في العالم لحظة حدوثها .



كما أصبحت منصة للعديد من الشباب العرب للتعبيرعن وجهة نظرهم وإبداعاتهم، حيث تعتبر درعاً واقياً وأداة للتعبير والإبداع، حيث تتيح للأشخاص على الصعيد المهني العثور على جهات اتصال، وفرص مهنية عبر بناء شبكة علاقات مهنية، ويظهر التقرير أن المستخدمين في شمال أفريقيا أكثر حماساً من المناطق الأخرى لبناء شبكة علاقات مهنية من خلال استخدام عدة منصات.



ووفق التقرير عينه، تتمثل الدوافع الرئيسة لاستخدام تلك الوسائل اقتصادياً، في الحرص على نمو الأعمال التجارية، وتحسين صورة الشركة وسفراء العلامات التجارية، وتعزيز عمليات التسويق، والبحث عن المواهب، والارتقاء بمستوى خدمة المتعاملين، وتدريب الموظفين، وتحسن العمليات المتعلقة بالخدمة، وتحفيز ريادة الأعمال، والابتكارات والتقنيات الحديثة.



كما سلط التقرير الضوء على الآثار السلبية لوسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في العمل، كعدم دقة المعلومات المستعملة في التخطيط ووضع الاستراتيجيات من قبل الشركات.



وبحسب التقرير تبنّت المؤسسات في جميع أنحاء المنطقة العربية وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في أعمالها بوتيرة متفاوتة، ويمكننا تصنيف بعضها على أنها مؤسسات تتبنّى التغيير والأخرى بطيئة في تبنّيه، وضمن جميع الدول العربية التي شملتها الدراسة، لوحظ أن المؤسسات تتبنّى وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في دول مجلس التعاون بشكل أكبر بالمقارنة مع الأسواق العربية الأخرى، وقد كانت نسبة التبنّي أقل إلى حد ما في منطقة بلاد الشام، تليها منطقة شمال أفريقيا.



ولكون المؤسسات أكثر ميلاً للتغيير، مع وجود مستويات أعلى في تبنّي وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، لوحظ أن هناك تصنيفات مختلفة للمؤسسات في منطقتي دول مجلس التعاون وبلاد الشام تتمثل في المؤسسات التي تعتمد الترويج والمؤسسات المتخصصة والمؤسسات التي تعتمد الاتصال الداخلي (في بلاد الشام فقط).
